JOHNS&CO, hosted the tennis tournament in a bid to raise money for its charity partner, Richard House Children’s Hospice. They partnered with local businesses and the Belgravia based celebrity hair salon, Errol Douglas to offer an array of attractive raffle prizes, contributing to a grand total of £1000 for the charity, which will go towards the vital work that the charity does to help children and their families in London lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition.
Clynton Nel, Residential Director at JOHNS&CO, said: “We have supported the Richard House Children’s Hospice for several years now and it is always a joy to get together as a team in support of this important and worthy cause. It was great to see the team dust off their tennis whites and bring their fierce competitiveness to the tennis court in support of this great charitable initiative.”
Monique Chery Marketing Director at JOHNS&CO, said: “Charities have been hit hard by the recent pandemic, so we saw the opportunity to both support Richard House, whilst simultaneously encouraging our colleagues to enjoy the beautiful game of tennis. We do not under estimate the importance of sport and team bonding for one’s mental well-being, especially with recent social restrictions. All in all, it was a huge success and we look forward to building upon this event in 2022.
