
Twelve Months On: What has the industry learnt?
Exactly one year ago today the UK’s Property Market re-opened for business, emerging after nearly seven weeks in lockdown.
It was a day few knew quite what to expect – was it going to be a total washout or were we going to be rushed off our feet with an influx of enquiries from homebuyers, sellers and renters desperate to get on with their home moves?
Thankfully for us and many others across London, the latter ensued and we saw activity levels similar to those at the start of year following the UK General Election. Whilst the activity was welcomed with open (albeit socially distanced) arms, it was evident that the market had changed.
